i_wish_to_remain_namelessI was planning to read more before making a post but with the way arc 26 is starting off I think I should write about the last two arcs before I head into what might be the end game. I've been meaning to do this for the past couple weeks but I've been very busy with finals and too tired from those to do anything fun. I'm almost done though.
I also discovered that tumblr user Akirameta also seems to be a member of the started reading Worm because of See You In The Dark club. That makes at least three of us (including me)
So I knew that Regent was going to die and that he was going to die for Imp. This was one of the spoilers I learned from the See You In The Dark comments on Spacebattles. I was still a little surprised when it happened though. Mostly because of how little ceremony there was to it. I kind of liked that, though.
I thought it was kind of funny when Taylor was like "I didn't really know him at all :(" because I don't think she would have liked him if she knew him better. Even though she isn't great about sticking to her morals she probably would object to his lack of them. If she found out the full extent of what he did to Shadowstalker she'd probably be like "dude WTF" but also be slightly relieved that she didn't actually drive her to attempt suicide.
I also thought it was funny when Taylor was talking to her dad and was like "I still totally killed Alexandria by the way, I know it looks like she was still alive at that Endbringer fight but that's just a body-snatcher puppeting her corpse around." I was expecting there to be more to it than that but I'm fine with that explanation honestly.
The timeskip toward Scarab threw me a bit. Mostly I didn't know several months had passed at first though I guess that's something that's harder to get across in first person.
Finally, because I've already mentioned the Bonesaw interlude, that endbringer that kills people with bubbles of accelerated time is fucked up. That's sounds like an awful way to die. Right up there with falling into a bottomless pit. I guess when it comes down to it I'm really scared of dying of dehydration since that's what kills you in both cases.
